Hello Renata, and welcome to the pages of Famost! It’s great to have you in this issue of the magazine
Hi, thanks for having me! First of all, I’d like to share a bit about myself. I have a deep passion for aesthetics, especially in fashion. I also love animals and the festive Christmas atmosphere.
How did you choose this path in the fashion industry?
I’ve been drawn to aesthetics and fashion since childhood. A few years ago, I decided to turn this passion into something tangible, allowing me to express this side of myself in a concrete way. That’s how Renee Design was born.
Where do you find inspiration when designing a collection or a product?
I find inspiration mostly within myself—my experiences, the images I daydream about, and the stories I create. I also draw from the world around me, including architectural lines, nature, paintings, and costumes. The sources of inspiration are limitless. You can find inspiration in anything; you just need to be in the right mood.
Do you consider current trends when designing a collection?
I stay informed about current fashion trends, but they don’t influence my collections. I prefer to create pieces with a distinct identity. After all, that’s what true creativity is about.
Renee Design
Our latest collection, named “NEXT CHAPTER,” marks a significant personal milestone for me. Following the outbreak of the pandemic, I faced a creative block. I spent endless hours making masks, with a strong conviction that they could make a difference. Eventually, I emerged from this period feeling renewed—a rebirth of sorts. I began envisioning a new collection that blends classic elegance with the comfort of sportswear.
The collection predominantly features sporty materials like knits and jersey, integrated into classic and casual designs, with a touch of glamour added through delicate tulle accents. It’s a fusion of styles that confronts the current global situation, emphasizing the message to MOVE FORWARD CONFIDENTLY AND WITH STYLE, regardless of challenges. This concept celebrates adaptation as a form of evolution, opening new creative pathways and discoveries that might otherwise remain unexplored.
The inspiration for this collection stems from my emotional journey during this time, reflected both in its color palette and design aesthetics. It wasn’t without its challenges, especially in working with sport materials, which require careful handling during garment construction. We overcame the technical challenges of working with sport materials thanks to the expertise and dedication of our technologist, Mrs. Lungu Mariana, whose contributions were invaluable throughout the process.

How do you see the fashion industry in Romania?
On the rise, I hope. baby steps 🙂
What is your fashion style and if it is reflected in your creations?
I feel very comfortable in casual outfits, and this style is indeed reflected in my creations, though in a ‘mixed’ way. I incorporate classic elements, reinterpreting them as the foundation of my designs. Including them throughout my journey feels like an acknowledgment of my origins and a homage to the pioneers of fashion.
What are Renee’s plans for the future and what is in store?
I plan to further develop Renee Design, investing more time and resources into this passion, and reaching people who truly appreciate it, both in Romania and internationally.
